Latour is an extremely influential figure in the philosophy and sociology of science, and a leading light of the modern field of Science and Technology Studies. Bruno Latour. Much of today’s discussion concerned an early work of Latour, the book Laboratory Life: the Construction of Scientific Facts co-authored with Indeed, if pushed to make a judgment, I would say that this was Latour's own aim in writing this text.
